They are truly a work in progress - these are some of successes

That's dirt blowing in a Haboob in June.  This picture was taken in mid-day.

Bird feeders

Luscious watermelon vine - but nary a watermelon for our table.

Grew sweet potato slips - but they died once I planted them in the garden.

Can you believe it - I grew peanuts.
Roasted them in the oven - yum!

Potatoes did best in 2012.
These are planted with brocolli.

Companion planting of corn & pole beans.
The tomatoes in the foreground never produced a single fruit.
