The Challenge of turning all the RED DIRT into a Lush GREEN (Bermuda Grass) LAWN continued.
Hubby planted grass seeds in April and set up the oscillating sprinklers to water for 10 minutes every 4 hours.
Pictures below were taken during the summer of 2012 showing the results of keeping the areas moist.

Haboob, not as bad as last year!  Thank Goodness!

a Haboob (dust storm) rolled thru
 



Billy Bob is happy for all the grass

So is Betty Sue


Glad to say that by Aug 2012 all the dirt areas had filled in  - glad to say that the beagles are no longer tracking in dirt!

Grass grew so well that we bought
a John Deere in July 2012

Hopefully our grass starting days are over,
that is until we try to grow grass
behind the "doggy enclosure"

Oh, we're doing that now (Sept 2012)
